Important Notice Regarding Coronavirus and RE-OPENING
I am continuing to serve existing clients and schedule intakes with new clients. In accordance with public health recommendations and in coordination with my colleagues on the second floor of 318 W. Galer St., as of JUNE 1, 2023, I will be offering in-person sessions to fully vaccinated and boosted clients. I will provide you with a code to enter the building. In-person sessions will not require masks or social distancing. If you select this option, please send a copy of your vaccination card to dkosins@uw.edu before your appointment. In addition, please test negative on a rapid at-home Covid-19 test before each session. I will also test regularly. I will continue teletherapy sessions for clients who are not fully vaccinated, test positive, or cannot attend in-person sessions.
I recently began walking sessions with a few established clients, weather permitting. Inquire if interested.
For teletherapy sessions I usually use the HIPAA compliant system DOXY. If you use insurance to get reimbursed for your sessions, please contact your insurance company to find out whether teletherapy (telehealth) will impact reimbursement.
How to use Doxy and Zoom:
I will email you a link to their virtual waiting room. Use the doxy.me app (phone or tablet) or open the Chrome or Firefox browser on a computer. Type in the link I send you. Type in your name and click “Check in.” Allow your device or browser to use your camera and microphone. I will start your session at your scheduled time.
Group sessions will be conducted via Zoom. Make sure you are signed up with Zoom before our sessions and I will invite you to join the groups on the day of the session you will be attending.
