Important Notice Regarding Coronavirus and RE-OPENING

I am continuing to serve existing clients and schedule intakes with new clients.

As soon as public health authorities recommend, in coordination with my colleagues on the second floor of 318 W. Galer St., I will be offering in-person sessions to fully vaccinated and boosted clients.  In-person sessions will not require masks or social distancing. If you select this option, please send a copy of your vaccination card to before your appointment. I will continue teletherapy sessions for clients who are not fully vaccinated or who cannot attend in-person sessions.
Once it is considered safe to meet in-person, we ask that you limit use of the waiting room and common areas by remaining outside the building until your appointment time.  Unless otherwise arranged, please enter the building unaccompanied by others (eg., family members).  Please wear an appropriate mask upon entering the building and until you are in my office suite.  Please note that we may have windows open for added ventilation, so you may want to dress for the weather.  Air will also be purified mechanically in my suite.
Please reschedule your appointment or meet via teletherapy if you have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, muscle aches, fatigue, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion or runny nose.  Also, please stay home if you test positive for COVID, live with someone who recently tested positive or have been instructed to quarantine due to exposure to COVID.  If I have any of the above symptoms, I will reschedule or see you virtually.

I recently began walking sessions with a few established clients, weather permitting. Inquire if interested.

For teletherapy sessions I usually use the HIPAA compliant system DOXY. If you use insurance to get reimbursed for your sessions, please contact your insurance company to find out whether teletherapy (telehealth) will impact reimbursement.

How to use Doxy and Zoom:

I will email you a link to their virtual waiting room. Use the app (phone or tablet) or open the Chrome or Firefox browser on a computer. Type in the link I send you. Type in your name and click “Check in.” Allow your device or browser to use your camera and microphone. I will start your session at your scheduled time.

Group sessions will be conducted via Zoom.  Make sure you are signed up with Zoom before our sessions and I will invite you to join the groups on the day of the session you will be attending.
